// The story
We started H-Town Labs because Houston deserved better options.
Most local businesses had two choices when they needed real software: an offshore shop that disappeared after invoice, or a coastal agency that quoted six figures to rebuild a calendar.
Meanwhile every founder in town had the same conversation about AI — a lot of hype, very little working software, and nobody willing to say "this use case isn't worth it."
We built H-Town Labs to be the engineering partner we wished existed: senior, plain- spoken, locally accountable, and AI-native from day one. We work on a small number of engagements at a time so each one gets the attention it deserves.
